Sean Bukowski

Principal

Sean Bukowski founded the Bukowski Law Firm in early 2010. Mr. Bukowski’s goal was to create a vibrant, dedicated law firm that would help commercial real estate owners and operators protect their assets from acquisition to disposition, thus freeing them to focus on just running their business.

Before that, Mr. Bukowski worked in both the New York and Houston offices of Vinson & Elkins, LLP. He worked in all areas of litigation, including corporate and securities, eminent domain, mass tort and bankruptcy.

Mr. Bukowski has lived in Austin since late 2010 and loves it here. He loves the real estate industry and is a staunch advocate of dense, urban areas where people can live, work, and play. He is committed to helping Austin solve its housing affordability issues by promoting urban infill and affordability. That’s why he personally writes the weekly blog articles on our website as well as hosts the “Greater Texas” podcast.

Because Mr. Bukowski loves Austin so much, he strives to make it a better, more inclusive city for everyone. To that end, he is part of the 45th Essentials class of Leadership Austin. He also has previously co-hosted the Real Estate Zone on KLBJ radio. And he is the group leader of the Austin 1 chapter of ProVisors.

Mr. Bukowski is also passionate about supporting and maintaining the arts in Austin. To that end, he is a frequent patron at venues around town, including the Paramount Theater, Moody Center, Moody Theater, Stubbs, Bass Hall, etc. And to help ensure that the arts survive in Austin, Mr. Bukowski is on the board of the Austin Creative Alliance.

Mr. Bukowski is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Vanderbilt Law School. He is a rabid fan of the National Champion University of Michigan Wolverines, as well as the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Pistons, and Red Wings.
