Drafting Leases and Vendor Agreements
Having a well written leases and vendor agreements is critical to your success. These documents set the foundation for your contractual relationships. As any business contract, they communicate what is expected and what will be provided.
There are hundreds of websites that offer free commercial lease forms, we urge you to use caution if that is the road you intend to take. While these cookie cutter contracts are a great starting point, they are usually exceptionally long and filled with unnecessary information. Remember each property and project is different, each lease agreement should be tailored to suit your individual needs.
The same concept applies to vendor agreements. You wouldn’t want to have the same basic agreement for each of your vendors. Each vendors brings a different expectation and service to the table, that unique situation requires a specific agreement to communicate what is expected of each party. The agreements we have drafted have stood the test of time and provide a solid framework.
